Noticed Anything Different in Flickr Searches? » CogDogBlog
Once again Alan Levine gives clear directions on how to do something you either hadn’t realized you could do, or that it was so easy. HTML code for embedding 500px images from flickr with the proper citation code ALREADY IN THERE! Thanks!

the Awesome Highlighter >> Highlight text on web pages
While I use the Diigo toolbar/addon in firefox, this seems like it would be a great addition for teachers not using Diigo or having their kids use Diigo yet.

Find Creative Commons Images in Google Image Search
I demand that kids use cc lic images if they don’t take the pictures themselves (ie: a tiger would be tough to photograph in Maine . . .not even a real zoo to visit). While Flickr cc is good, and they have the attribution and citation down to a science, this will no doubt open up their options and give them much better search capabilities to find exactly what they are looking for to complete their multimedia projects. (Thanks for tweeting this Tim Hart!)
